I used banana and whole cow milk, muscovado sugar, added dark chocolate chips. we loved them easily. I’m baking it 2 days in a row. this recipe is a keeper.

YEs of course I’m sure I used oat flour! And there are photos step by step of the recipe showing the batter. Did you substitute regular wheat flour???

I think this is a recipe for regular wheat flour but even then with all the wet ingredients it’s still pretty dry with regular flour. oat flour is much more absorbent than regular flour so you have to use more than what is listed or less flour to get that liquid consistency. I added about 3 eggs, 5 cups of milk, 4 tps of vanilla, and I used honey instead of apple sauce and it’s still very dry. not like your pictures at all. either post legitimate photos of the actual batter or post the actual ingredient measurements.

I have food allergies so I had to substitute butter for the coconut oil and skipped the chocolate chips, but even with those substitutions, the muffin was light and airy and completely delicious. I have been waiting some time for a recipe like this. Gluten free naturally!!
Thank you!

I wish I could help you! I see the applesauce in the recipe on my site as well as when you click the “print recipe” button. See image below! For anyone having the same issue the amount is 1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce.

Please look into why the applesauce does not appear in the ingredient list.
I only figured out the quantity from one of your comments.

I’m very confused! I see applesauce in the recipe card. Could you tell me where you do not see it? Also how much applesauce did you add if you didn’t see the 1/2 cup indicated?

No applesauce anywhere on the list . It did not turn out and I added apple sauce .

I’m seeing it on the ingredient list – is this in the recipe card? Wish I could help but all the ingredients appear to be there for me!
