I make my scrub with dried, ground hibiscus and water Lilly, I use sgea butter and coconut oil and whip it with a beater then mix in the salt and essential oils…so moisturizing and refreshing, it also makes for a creamy thick mixture 🙂

I haven’t found that to be the case! Sometimes a bit of salt is leftover but a quick splash of water to get it down the drain does the trick!

We had our bath remodeled last year and even without the salt scrub the floor of the shower can be slippery. ANy suggestions?

Same happened to me. I added sweet almond oil (https://a.co/d/g28NbEh) with 5 drops each of jojoba, baobab, and argan oil to the salts. I then put some Castile soap in it to make it an all-in-one.
Thinking I should not add Castile soap with the sweet almond oil, too thick maybe. Maybe just add Castile soap with 5 drops each of jojoba, baobab, and argan oil…or sweet almond oil with 5 drops each of jojoba, baobab, and argan oil.

Very strange! Can I ask what kind of oil you used?

When I got home to Seattle, the mixture had solidified. I tried warming it in the microwave and it got more pliable, but is now solid again. Any suggestions for making the scrub more granular or creamy again or is this normal?

Is there a difference between olive cooking oil and olive carrier oil?

By definition a salt is a molecule made of charged atoms that dissociate in solutions, especially water. And a sulphate is a salt that contains sulfur.
